We've guided over 200 visitors aged 60+ through the historic walled garden at Colclough, exploring seasonal plantings and Victorian garden design. Each visit includes rest stops, detailed plant descriptions, and refreshments in the estate tearoom. The programme runs monthly from April through October.
Our guided heritage tours at Tintern Abbey grounds combine medieval architecture with storytelling. We've hosted 18 group visits over the past year, with participants gaining deeper understanding of 13th-century monastic life and the abbey's restoration. Tours are paced at 1.2 km with multiple seating areas and interpretation stops.
This seasonal programme celebrates the orchard's heritage apple and pear varieties dating back over 100 years. We've introduced 35 regular visitors to fruit tree identification, harvesting practices, and the history of each variety. Spring blossom walks and autumn harvest visits are the programme highlights.
